There is a great
exhibition<http://www.vam.ac.uk/microsites/cold-war-modern/exhibition/space-odysseys>at
the V&A Museum in London, on Cold War Modern Design. It has soaring
Soviet and Archigram TV towers, Pierre Cardin space age fashion (as
reprocessed in British TV Sci-fi), Ken Adams film sets and Bucky Domes. They
have a youtube channel <http://uk.youtube.com/user/coldwarmodern> with some
of the movies, you can also find the Corbusier
Video<http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0YlBmx3VulY&feature=related>with
analogue electro getting spooky. The Cold war was fought with proganda
and products, far more than with proxies in Korea and Vietnam
It runs till Jan 11. And now I'm looking to the John Lautner exhibition
which is moving from LA to Glasgow's Lighthouse
Centre<http://www.thelighthouse.co.uk/>in March
