and through the magic of streaming media, watch James Felix McKenney’s
pensive tribute to the schlocky sci-fi movies of the 50’s, Automatons. It’s
a grainy black and white microbudget affair chock full o’ good ideas layered
with a social message about perspective and war. It also has Angus Scrimm
and a bunch of cheesy looking robots fighting one another on radioactive
wastelands. Need I say more?*
